9:00 AM — 4:00 PM, Ceddia Union Building (CUB) Information Desk by the Orndorff Theater, First Floor 

Register and pick-up or purchase Grand Buffet Dinner or Craig Karges, Experience the Extraordinary, tickets, a schedule of events and have any questions answered. Any non-pre-registered tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Make sure to pick up a coupon at the Area!  






Game Tournament 

 9:00 AM — 12:00 PM, CUB Game Zone   

Think you have what it takes to have one of the top three best times in a Mario Kart race?  Then participate in our FREE Mario Kart Tournament!  Children ages 16 and under may participate in our one-race tournament held from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.  Sign up for a 15 minute time slot at the Registration, Ticket Sales & Information Area for a chance to win awesome prizes!

Back Stage Tours of the H. Ric Luhrs Performing Arts Center

Enjoy a backstage tour and be enlightened with a behind the scenes look at this 1,500-seat state-of-the-art performing arts center. Louis Paul, balloon artist extraordinaire creates one of a kind custom made balloon artwork at your request. Join him in the Great Hall at the Family Fun Zone for an artistic piece of your choice. 



MSA:  The Magic Shop 

11:00 AM, Gilbert Hall 100  

Through live performances, interactive exercises and cultural cuisine, this program will take particpants on a cultural excursion through Shippensburg University.  The diversity of Ship brings its own special magic and MSA, the Office of Multicultural Studetn Affairs, waves it’s wand and brings this magic to life. 



Football Game

 Join the campus community to show your pride as you watch the Shippensburg Raiders take on the East Stroudsburg Warriors. Tickets only $9 for adults, $4 for senior citizens & non-SU school-aged students, and FREE for SU Students with ID & children under 5. 


Field Hockey Game

 Join the campus community to show your pride as you watch the Shippensburg Raiders take on the IUP Crimson Hawks. Entry is free for all SU Students, Families, and Friends.  


Shippensburg Civil War Trail Walking Tour  

1:00 — 4:00 PM, Downtown Shippensburg, 52 West King Street  

Guided walking tours of the Shippensburg Civil War Trail will take place at 12 & 2 PM, and last 30 to 45 minutes. Self guided tour maps will be available at the Registration, Ticket Sales & Information Area in the event of inclement weather. Meet at the Shippensburg Historical Society located at 52 West King Street, 5 to 10 minutes before the tour. (Parking available on Burd Street, behind the Shippen Place Hotel, or at the Fireman’s Activity Center on Orange Street). 



Shippensburg Historical Society Tours  

1:00 — 4:00 PM, Downtown Shippensburg, 52 West King Street  

Founded in 1945, the Shippensburg Historical Society is a private, non-profit membership organization dedicated to collecting, preserving, and sharing the rich history of Shippensburg, Pennsylvania and the surrounding area. Capacity is limited to 15-20 people at a time. The building is not handicap accessible and we apologize for this inconvenience. See under Civil War Walking Tour for parking information. 



Tours of the Old Courthouse 

1:00 — 4:00 PM, Downtown Shippensburg, 352 East King Street  

Situated at the corner of King and Queen Streets in Shippensburg, this stone building dates to circa 1735. There were four terms of court held in Shippensburg. The courts were moved to Carlisle in 1751. Since 1928, the Civic Club has owned and maintained the building.  



S.T.A.R.S. Campus Tours  

2:00 – 4:00 PM, Meet at the Ship Deck Amphitheater, CUB  

Interested in discovering some of SHIP'S history? Then come out and enjoy exploring stories regarding older buildings on Shippensburg University's campus. Some buildings that will be discussed include Old Main, Stewart Hall and the Little Red Schoolhouse. Tours will begin every half hour (2:00PM, 2:30PM, 3:00PM, 3:30PM). Tours will begin at the Ship Deck Amphitheater.

 Join the campus community to show your pride as you watch the Shippensburg Raiders take on the Point Park Pioneers. Entry is free for all SU Students, Families, and Friends.  


Grace B. Luhrs University Elementary School (GBLUES) Fall Festival 

4:00 - 8:00 PM, Student Recreation Complex  

Join GBLUES in their annual Fall Festival complete with carnival games, nature crafts, cupcake walk, relays, a bake sale, basket raffles, an extensive dinner and more! Entry wristbands are only $5 for an activity wristband, $3 for a craft wristband. All preschoolers are free! 



Grand Buffet Dinner 

4:30 — 7:00 PM, Reisner Dining Hall  

Please join us in Reisner Dining Hall for our annual Grand Buffet Dinner. The chefs will be preparing an extravagant enhanced meal featuring an Italian Eatery, Comfort Food, Balance Choices, a Mongolian Grill, a Charbroiler station, and other items. ADVANCED REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED! Limited tickets will be available for purchase at the door. To reserve meal tickets, please complete and return the attached registration form. Students will be permitted to use their meal plans only if student name and I.D. number information is completed on the attached registration form. NO GUEST MEALS ALLOWED.  



A Night Under the Stars  

5:30 & 7:30 PM, Dibert Planetarium, Franklin Science Center, First Floor  

Join Jack Roddick ’47 for a 60 minute live simulated presentation of the night sky with 2,000 stars that is extremely realistic. Space is available for 55 people on a first-come, first-served basis. 



Craig Karges-  Experience the Extraordinary 

8 PM, Ceddia Union Building (CUB) Multi Purpose Room (MPR)  

Have your mind blown by the extraordinary Craig Karges!  Have your imagination challenged when you see tables float, minds read, and metal bent!  By combining the art of magic with the science of psychology and the power of intuition, it is proven that nothing is impossible!  ADVANCED REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.
