The American Council on Education, ACE, the major coordinating body for all of the nation's higher education institutions, seeks to provide leadership and a unifying voice on higher education issues and to influence public policy through advocacy, research, and program initiatives.
The Fund for Veterans Education
The Fund for Veterans' Education (FVE) provides higher education scholarships to veterans of all branches of the United States Armed Forces who have served in Iraq or Afghanistan. Founded in 2007, the Fund for Veterans' Education will provide scholarships for undergraduate study during the 2008 and 2009 academic years. FVE is a program of The Kisco Foundation, Inc. an independent, not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization.
MyVetwork is an online social networking platform designed to build a sustainable community for all United States military veterans, spouses, families, and friends- particularly those who have service-connected injuries associated with Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States
The Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States, with its Auxiliaries, includes 2.2 million members in approximately 8,100 Posts worldwide. Its mission is to "honor the dead by helping the living" through veterans' service, community service, national security and a strong national defense.
VetJobs is the leading Internet niche job board for reaching the 14 million military veterans currently in the work force, as well as the 250 thousand active duty military personnel who transition each year, and their family members. VetJobs is an excellent source for candidates in information technology, program and project management, sales, linguists, logistics, transportation, human resources, manufacturing, engineering, finance, healthcare, accounting and senior executives.
Vets4Vets is a non-partisan organization dedicated to sharing the value of peer support with Iraq and Afghanistan era veterans through the use of FREE weekend workshops and local support groups. Vets4Vets encourages veterans to regularly use peer support as a means of dealing with the challenges of reintegration. We envision Vets4Vets being a common name in the minds of all veterans as a place where they, and their comrades, can go to heal.
National Association of Veterans Upward Bound
The National Association of Veterans Upward Bound Project Personnel (NAVUBPP) is the professional association for Veterans Up ward Bound (VUB) staff personnel. Veterans Upward Bound projects, supported by NAVUBPP are dedicated to fully develop the personal potential of all U.S. military veterans. VUB Staff and instructors assist veterans by developing, improving, and extending educational access and opportunities to eligible veterans through academic needs assessment, instruction, enrichment, and other academic support activities. Veterans Upward Bound projects are funded by the U. S. Department of Education and serve eligible veterans across the nation.

MarineParents.com, Inc. was founded in January, 2003 in response to parents' needs to find information and to Connect & Share with one another during deployments. Our free services, connections and outreach projects have expanded to support Marines, to support and educate Marine moms, dads, spouses, families and friends. We've helped over 50,000 Marines, recruits and family members during boot camp, training, active duty and deployments.
