King & Queen

Think you know who should wear the crown and hold the title of 2014 Homecoming King or Queen? Nominate them today by filling out the 2014 King & Queen Application Packet!

Congratulations to all who made the 2013 Homecoming Court and thank you for helping the Homecoming Committee by raising over $9500 toward the National MS Society of Central Pennsylvania!

2013 Homecoming Queen: Sarah Maize
Sarah Grace Maize is a senior majoring in Social Work and Psychology, with a minor in Women and Gender Studies. Sarah is involved in the Student Senate, where she is currently the Secretary. She is also a member of the Orientation Team and an employee of the Ceddia Union Building tech crew. Sarah is known around campus for her bubbly personality and her passion for helping others. The MS Society is near and dear to her, as she has watched her grandmother struggle with MS for most of her life. She hopes to give back to such a great cause.

2013 Homecoming King: Joseph (Joey) Bucher
Joseph Richards Bucher is a junior majoring in Early Childhood Education. Joseph is involved in New Student Orientation, where he is currently the treasurer. Joseph is also a Big Buddy mentor at GBLUES for the second year in a row, and is a new member of B.R.O.T.H.E.R.S. This year Joseph has been afforded the opportunity to mentor transfer students as an AmeriCorps Community Fellow. Joseph is known for his smile, accepting personality, and his ability to make any situation positive. Joseph is well aware of the importance of raising money for a seemingly incurable disease, as he has had personal experience.
