2014 Homecoming Queen: Nicole Nicholson
Nicole is a senior
psychology major. She is currently the intern for the New Student Orientation team,
President of the Residence Hall Association, Secretary of the Student Alumni
Ambassadors; as well as an active member of Psi Chi, the National Residence Hall
Honorary, the Red Sea, the Honors Program, and Colleges Against Cancer. Nicole works in the Learning Center as a writing tutor and volunteers every week with
Special Olympics. In her free time, Nicole enjoys reading, running marathons, hanging
out with friends, and horseback riding. During her time at Shippensburg. Nicole has completed multiple undergraduate research projects and has enjoyed serving as
a student representative on multiple committees across campus.
2014 Homecoming King: Brandon Bord
Brandon is a junior Business Management major. He is an MSIII in the Army ROTC program on a 4 year scholarship hoping to go into the Active duty component of the Army upon graduation. Through ROTC he has traveled to Thailand this past summer where he helped teach English to Thai Army cadets. Brandon is the Public Relations chair, Social Chair, and Housing Chair for the Kappa Sigma Fraternity here on campus. Through his fraternity, Brandon plays Intramural Softball, Soccer, and Volleyball and also attended a leadership conference this past summer. Brandon is also a member of the Jiu-Jitsu and Adventure clubs, and loves serving the community. His family and friends describe him as compassionate, caring, honest, faithful, hardworking, generous, and selfless. They know him for his smile, sense of humor, and vibrant personality.
