Investment Organization

 Our goal is to provide students the opportunity to practice investing in the stock market. Our portfolio is valued around $10,000 which was created by students and is managed by students. Stock presentations are made and students vote as a group to buy, sell or hold.

The Investment Organization shall serve as a hands-on learning vehicle for all members.  With the funds collected as dues from members, the organization will supply unique opportunities and learning experiences regarding the fields of finance and investments.  The organization will strive to promote and environment where classroom concepts can be applied and students may further their knowledge within these fields. The organization will work to achieve this goal by incorporating trips, speakers and operating a real-dollar portfolio, the Shippensburg Global Collegiate Fund.
