Family Fun Photos

Get your photograph taken with your parents, family and friends! Your first framed photo is free!  Additional framed prints are available at $5 each.  

Parents & Family T-Shirts

Pick-up or purchase Parents & Family T-Shirts. Any non-pre-purchased T-shirts will be available for sale on a first-come, first-served basis. The Shippensburg University logo is on the front and the writing is on the back. To hold yours for pickup, please order them via the registration link above. 

Shippensburg University Bookstore

9:00 AM — 6:00 PM, CUB Ground Floor
Stop on by the Shippensburg University Bookstore to find that special SHIP item for your family or friends. Make sure you stop in for 10% off one SHIP item! Limit one per family. Visit the Family Fun Zone to meet a Shippensburg University Bookstore representative and play an awesome game to win prizes.

Back Stage Tour of the H. Ric Luhrs Performing Arts Center

Visit the H. Ric Luhrs Performing Arts Center for a unique look at Central PA’s premier performing arts facility. Enjoy a backstage tour and be enlightened with a behind the scenes look at this 1,500-seat state-of-the-art performing arts center.

Pop into your student’s residence hall to meet the Residence Life staff and see the wonderful community that your student is a part of each day.

Join the campus community to show your pride as you watch the Shippensburg Raiders take on the Bloomsburg Huskies. Tickets only $10 for adults, $5 for senior citizens & non-SU school-aged students, and FREE for SU Students with ID & children under 5. Shippensburg Civil War Trail Walking Tour  

1:00 — 4:00 PM, Downtown Shippensburg, 52 West King Street  

Guided walking tours of the Shippensburg Civil War Trail will take place at 12 & 2 PM, and last 30 to 45 minutes. Self-guided tour maps will be available at the Registration, Ticket Sales and Information Area in the event of inclement weather. Meet at the Shippensburg Historical Society located at 52 West King Street, 5 to 10 minutes before the tour. (Parking available on Burd Street, behind the Shippen Place Hotel, or at the Fireman’s Activity Center on Orange Street). 


Shippensburg Historical Society Tours  

1:00 — 4:00 PM, Downtown Shippensburg, 52 West King Street  

Founded in 1945, the Shippensburg Historical Society is a private, non-profit membership organization dedicated to collecting, preserving, and sharing the rich history of Shippensburg, Pennsylvania and the surrounding area. Capacity is limited to 15-20 people at a time. The building is not handicap accessible and we apologize for this inconvenience. See above under

Tours of the Old Courthouse 

1:00 — 4:00 PM, Downtown Shippensburg, 352 East King Street  

Situated at the corner of King and Queen Streets in Shippensburg, this stone building dates to circa 1735. There were four terms of court held in Shippensburg. The courts were moved to Carlisle in 1751. Since 1928, the Civic Club has owned and maintained the building.  


P&F Game Show: BrainCell

Your family just became a team in one of the most-hyped game shows on college campuses. Using your phones to submit your answers to all types of trivia, battle it out against other teams to be crowned the best SHIP family!

Self-Guided Historical Tour of SHIP's Campus 

Interested in discovering some of SHIP’s history? Pick up a self-guided tour at Registration, Ticket Sales, and Information Area to explore the campus grounds. 

A Night Under the Stars  

5:30 & 7:30 PM, Dibert Planetarium, Franklin Science Center, First Floor  

Join Jack Roddick, class of ’47, for a 60 minute live simulated presentation of the night sky with 2,000 stars that is extremely realistic. Space is available for 55 people on a first-come, first-served basis.
