Entertainment

Plans novelty, evening & weekend events providing students witha variety of options for things to do in between classes and studying, at night and on weekends.  These events include comdeians, musicians, hpynotists, and outdoor movies, as well as FREE activities; such as make your own spin art frisbees, photo programs, and Rita's Italian Ice.

Concert

Responsible for planning and implementing major music or comedy events on campus from artist selection, to hospitality and everything in between.  Past performers include Bomshel, B.o.B., Jason Derulo, Hit the Lights, Ben Folds, Jack's Mannequin, O.A.R., Emerson Drive, Howie Day, and others.

Multicultural Affairs (MAC)

Plans events, which highlight various cultures.  This includes MAC's Homecoming Weekend, which consists of comedians/musical performers, step shows and after parties.  Students have a chance to express themselves at Open Mic Nights/Poetry Slams that have included spoken word artists such as Javon Johnson, Benny Blaq, and Common Ground.  Other events have included theatre productions, skating & bowling parties, and the annual end of the year BBQ.

Performing Arts

Promotes the arts by providing events such as film festivals, lectures, theatre, Broadway productions, dance and musical performances (i.e. chorale, orchestras, blues, reggae, etc.).  Past programs include Broadway show trips (American Idiot, Phantom of the Opera, Wicked, and others), Recycled Percussion, The Punch Brothers, and Murder at the Casino.

Marketing, Advertising, Publicity, and Promotion (MAPP)

Responsible for the publicity and promotion of all APB events and the organization as a whole.  The committee designs the logos for specific events and event series (i.e. AfterDark & WHERE'S THE FUN), as well as chooses different promotional items given away at events.  This committee communicates with students through monthly event listings, posters, promotional items, website, and social media such as Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.

Travel & Recreation

Plans off-campus trips to attractions within the local area and major citites.  The committee also provides recreation trips which may include snow tubing, skiing, white water rafting, etc.  Travel & Rec's biggest event is the annual bus trip to New York City (NYC) every November.  Other past trips include Cedar Point, Eastern State Penitentiary, and the Washington D.C. Cherry Blossom Festival.

 Special Events 

Plans annual events such as the Parents & Family Celebration, Homecoming Committee novelty events, and RaiderFest.  RaiderFest (formerly SpringFest) is the annual end of the year festival in April featuring a BBQ, novelty rides, and FREE giveaways.  RaiderFest 2011 included carnival rides, an outdoor musical festival, carnival food, and PRIZES; such as an XBOX 360 w/ Kinect, signed B.o.B. posters, and a $500 University Store Gift Card.

 Campus Activities

Documents all APB activities, programs and events through photos and videos.  Gathers promotional items, news reports, and clippings for historical and record keeping purposes.  Designs a scrapbook for display to preserve and document the memories of APB.
